What would you expect to see at a fashion show thrown by a woman who is launching her new line of shoes? Oh … perhaps … SHOES!? Well, apparently thats a little too straightforward for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

For all of Lisas protests about not wanting to go overboard on Pandoras wedding she does absolutely nothing to stop her wedding planner from doing just that.

Minus 8 because I wish shed stop whining about it and accept the fact that nothing is too outlandish for her baby girl, including $15,000 wedding invitations.

Smoking designer cocktails are next on the list. When they say that the overpriced beverage is your personal, unique signature drink for your event, I always wonder how many people theyve sold that same line to for the same exact drink.

Plus 10 for the sucker born every minute and those waiting to make a buck off of them.

Pandora requests that her mothers friends dont have a battle in the middle of her wedding. Good luck with that. Minus 5 for naivete when her fiance thinks the ladies wouldnt start a fight at their wedding. Has he watched this show before?

Moving on from the start of a marriage to the end of one, we get a glimpse at Taylor and Russells counseling sessions. Minus 15. This is just horribly uncomfortable to watch.

The doctor is talking about how its important to be emotionally safe and that Russell needs to recognize when hes getting angry, mean, nasty and wants to hurt the person hes with. Yikes! I dont know about Taylor, but I think Im scared.

Minus 10 because Taylor just wants to sweep it all under the rug and move on. The doctor tells her thats immature and unrealistic. But Russell doesnt seem up for dealing with their issues. Hes got to leave early to get to a meeting.

I cant imagine why therapy didnt work.

Later, on the way to Adriennes party we see Taylor and Russell again in the back of a limo. He looks so awkward and uncomfortable in front of the camera that I have to wonder if he only signed off on doing this show because he was desperate for the money. Again, these scenes go from being sad to horrifying when you know what comes next.

The next day Taylor bails out on a mani / pedi date she set up with Kyle and Brandi. Plus 10 because the two woman make the best of it. Brandi wants to invite the ladies over for some fun but shes worried her injured foot will limit their options.

Perhaps a porn star friend can come over and give them all pointers. Plus 5 because the look on Kyles face is priceless.

Honestly, Brandi is on the wrong show. The Real Housewives of Atlanta or New Jersey would be all over this party idea but not so much in Beverly Hills. Id give lots of extra points if we could see Lisas face during this party demonstration.

Then on to Adriennes fashion show. The first thing she does is pull Lisa aside to tell her how hurt she is over Pandora having her bachelorette party at someplace other than the Maloofs hotel in Vegas. Lisa tries to explain that a family friend offered to throw the party at their hotel and she simply didnt want to impose on Adrienne.

Minus 7 to Adrienne for making such a big deal out of nothing.

On a side note, did Lisa and Ken really have to bring the dog to the fashion show. Minus 5. Leave the furry creature at home for once.

Plus 9 to Camille and Taylor for avoiding the upcoming fight at Adriennes event, even though they looked like kids in junior high doing it.

The fashion show is lovely. The dresses are gorgeous. I wish I could afford any of them or have a place to wear them, but what about the shoes?

All we heard about was how excited Adrienne was about her new shoe line and when they walked down the runway we never even saw them under the long skirts. Minus 10. I know this was a charity event first and foremost but it did seem like a lot of build up for little payoff and I dont really care about shoes.

RIM will attempt to corner the enterprise smartphone and tablet management market in early 2012, the company has revealed, pushing its security ecosystem even when users have defected to iPhone and Android. BlackBerry Mobile Fusion will kick off in closed beta in January 2012, with general availability expected in March, offering enterprise users remote configuration, locking, secure wiping and connectivity management whether theyre using a BlackBerry phone, PlayBook, Android smartphone or tablet, or an iPhone or iPad.

The system combines BlackBerry Enterprise Server and a more generic mobile device management system that will work with iOS 4 or higher devices and Android devices running 2.1, 2.2 or 2.3. Thats automatically going to limit Android tablet control from the offset, of course, since most models are running 3.x Honeycomb.

RIMs hope is that it can still grab a share of a mobile market proving less and less enamored of its BlackBerry smartphones. Although the company has enjoyed a long history of success with BlackBerry Enterprise Server, an increasing number of businesses are allowing employees to choose their own phones or even use personal phones with work accounts. On that front, BlackBerry devices have struggled to find appeal versus the finest from Apple, Samsung and others.

The Canadian companys own handsets will get a shot in the arm in early 2012, when the company launches its first BBX-based range.

Victoria Beckham Tearfully Thanks David at the British Fashion Awards

She recently said her foray into fashion was her way of following her dreams, and Victoria Beckhams dreams seemed to come true Monday night as she earned the designer brand award at the British Fashion Awards in London. Receiving her statuette from pal Marc Jacobs, the fashionista teared up while thanking the British Fashion Council.

I was really trying to keep it together in the speech without bursting out crying, she said apologetically, according to the UKs Daily Mail. After acknowledging business partner Simon Fuller and her talented team, she got personal, thanking my parents, my kids and my husband. Without David I wouldnt have had the courage to do what I am doing, she shared.

Though her husband wasnt at the awards hes currently traveling with the LA Galaxy soccer team he later took to his Facebook page, writing, The boys and I are incredibly proud of Victoria after winning a prestigious British Fashion Award tonight. She has worked so hard and deserves all the recognition. Its amazing what she has achieved tonight, very special.

Additional winners included Alexander McQueen creative director Sarah Burton (the Duchess of Cambridges wedding gown designer), who nabbed the top award, designer of the year. Stella McCartney, Christopher Kane and Kim Jones also took home various statuettes, and for the second year in a row, Alexa Chung won the British style award, which is voted on by the public. Olivia Palermo, Kate Moss, Kate Hudson, Colin Firth and wife Livia Giuggioli (a proponent of eco-friendly fashion) also attended.

The iconic white polka-dot dress worn on the cover of Back To Black, the multi-million selling Platinum album by the late great Amy Winehouse is going under the hammer in aid of the Amy Winehouse Foundation later today. The Disaya printed chiffon dress created in 2006, with engraved gilt metal Disaya label is a short style dress printed with bands of graduated dark-red polka dots, the corset-like bodice with under-wiring and central lace bow insertion and waistband, elasticated puff-ball skirt, UK size 8, bust approx 82-86cm, 32-34in, the high waist 71cm, 28in; together with a letter of authenticity signed by the designer – Disaya, (2) Provenance: In 2006, the young St Martins trained, Thai based designer Disaya was approached by her British PR agent with a request for the loan of a dress for Miss Winehouses photo-shoot. This request came via his friend – Louise Winwood who was Amys stylist at the time and was working on the album cover project for Universal Island Records. Although this was Amy Winehouses second album (she was re-launching her career after a break) there was reluctance on the part of many of the leading fashion designers initially approached to assist. However, Disaya was happy to help as she was launching her new label in the UK and felt that the young, innovative designs would be a good match. The photo-shoot took place in the photographer Mischa Richters house. Louise took over a selection of clothes for Amy to try, and they both agreed that this dress suited her best. After the photo-shoot the dress was returned to the designer and carefully stored in the Disaya archive. The album went on to sell over 3.2 million copies. In the light of Amys untimely death Disaya has decided that rather than keep the dress stored away, that it should be sold and the money raised used by the Amy Winehouse Foundation to benefit young people in need in the UK and overseas.

In her career, Kerry Taylor the founder of the auction house of the same name has worked on historic, landmark auctions such as the wardrobes of Duke amp; Duchess of Windsor, the stunning haute couture wardrobe of Princess Lilian of Belgium (where early 50s Diors looked as fresh as the day they were made complete with matching accessories), the historically important wedding suit of King James II and VII of 1673 which now form part of the Victoria amp; Albert Museum collection.
